New Montreal grunge-pop artist Vernier has released her first single “P.S. (I Forgot The Words).” As you know, here at Lady Indie we love 90’s revival music, so we’re really happy about this one!

The album “Things We Do For Love” will be dropping February 10th 2015. Gen Vernier Blouin is the voice and songwriter behind the music. (Gen is also in another band called Domestic Crisis Group).

The name Vernier, inspired by Gen’s grandfather also comes from the ancient German name Warinhari (Warin means “protection” and “hari” signifies “army”). We’ve had an advance listen of the album and can tell you already that you’ll want to hear it too! Something refreshing for 2015.

Word has it that Vernier had many pre and post collaborators including James Iha (Smashing Pumpkins) and Gordon Raphael (Strokes Producer) among others working on the album. Probably why it sounds so badass.
